Soltera Custom Card Games Update
We wanted to give you all a quick update on the Soltera Custom Card Games project.
First, we sincerely apologize for the wait. We’ve been conducting internal testing to make sure the rules are as fun, balanced, and easy to follow as possible. This has taken longer than expected, which has delayed getting a beta version of the rules into your hands.
We don’t currently have an ETA for the release, but please know that we’re working on it diligently. As soon as the beta version is ready, we’ll send it out so you can start playtesting and sharing your feedback.

📦 All Soltera Packages Have Shipped!

We're thrilled to let you know that all packages have now been shipped for everyone who has completed their BackerKit surveys! (We’re still waiting on surveys from 49 backers, so if you haven’t filled yours out yet—please do so!)
Depending on your location—domestic or international—your Soltera goodies should be arriving within the next week or so (and some of you have already received them!). We can’t wait for you to enjoy everything.
✨ What’s Next?
We’ll be taking a short break for some much-needed R&R (traveling to see family next week). Shipping out 849 packages has been a massive undertaking, and we’re excited to take a breath.
During this time, we may be slower to respond to messages, but we promise to address any issues or concerns as soon as we’re back at HQ (we're still around this week).

🃏 Soltera Custom Card Games – Coming Soon!
Many of you have asked about the custom fantasy-themed Soltera card games we designed to take advantage of the deck’s unique features—like extra Jokers and Wild Cards.
Several of these games are finished or close to it, but we weren’t able to fully playtest everything until all four decks were in hand. Our plan is to release beta versions of the rules via Backerkit for those that are ready, and then gather your feedback for further refinement.
Eventually, we’ll release a full-color, illustrated PDF rulebook, available as a free download on our website.
Make sure to check out Update #38 (Products Are On Their Way To Us!), where we shared early screenshots of the rulebook-in-progress.
📈 State of the Business
We have lots of exciting ideas in the works—new Soltera decks, companion products, and even some board games in various stages of development. There’s no shortage of creativity or passion on our end!
That said, we’re also being cautious and mindful of the current economic landscape. With rising production costs, tariffs, and shipping challenges, it's a tough time for small creators. We’ve already seen several of our fellow game publishers and partners succumb to these pressures, and it’s a reminder that we need to be thoughtful about what we greenlight and when.
Your continued support truly makes a difference, and we’re incredibly grateful to have this community behind us.
As always, we’ll keep you updated on any new projects or deck launches as we move forward—and we can’t wait to share what’s next when the time is right.

It truly means the world to us. We're so happy (and proud!) that you're enjoying everything—we’ve loved seeing your reactions and excitement.
Fulfillment Status
We’ve got roughly 80 packages remaining in the queue, and we’re working hard to get them all out as quickly as we can. Most, but not all, of the remaining packages need a bit of extra TLC—things like extra bubble wrap, odd-shaped boxes, or more fragile components—so they’re taking a bit longer to prepare and ship than we initially expected.
If you’re one of the unfortunate souls who hasn’t received a tracking email yet, don’t worry—your order is still in the queue, and we will get to it soon! It’s looking very likely that fulfillment will now carry us through next week.

🐉 Soltera Update: 76% Shipped, 100% Grateful 🐉
Great news from the HQ lair: we’ve officially shipped out over 640 packages—roughly 76% of all rewards! If you received a tracking email, your treasure is either already en route or waiting for USPS/UPS to give it the magical scan that sets it on its journey.
What remains? About 200 orders, not all, but many of which are extra special—either bound for retailers, packed with tons of merch, or containing Treasure Chests and Uncut Sheets that require a bit more TLC (and bubble wrap) to prepare.
We'll be tackling the rest of these over the next week (possibly dipping slightly into the following one), but first...
We’re taking a short rest.
Kim and I are absolutely wiped—body, mind, and dragon soul. So we’re pausing for what's left of the weekend to recharge our mana bars and stretch our spines before diving into the final stretch.
If your rewards have arrived already, we’d love to hear from you! Share your thoughts, tag us in photos, or just tell us your favorite card—we could use the boost, and hearing your excitement means the world to us.

Update on Limited Edition Gold Deck Numbering & Fulfillment Progress
Hello Friends!
We wanted to give you a quick update regarding the Limited Edition Gold decks. From the very beginning, our intention was to ship these decks in backer order so that our earliest supporters would receive the lowest-numbered decks as a small way of saying thank you for jumping in early.
Unfortunately, after exploring every possible method to make this happen, we've run into some unexpected limitations with our shipping software. It turns out that fulfilling orders in exact backer sequence—while also managing packaging, tracking, and inventory integrity—would require us to manually process and ship each order one at a time. As a small team, that would be not only extremely time-consuming, but also significantly more costly—both in labor and shipping logistics—than we can sustain without delaying all fulfillment and straining our overall budget.
As much as we hate to make this change, we’ve made the tough call to ship the Limited Edition Gold decks in standard fulfillment order, rather than matching deck numbers to backer numbers.
We know this may be disappointing to some of you, especially those who were excited about receiving a low-numbered deck. Please know this decision wasn’t made lightly. Our priority remains getting your rewards into your hands as quickly, efficiently, and carefully as possible—without compromising quality.
Roughly 1/4 Of All Orders Shipped!
That being said, fulfillment has officially started!
We’re excited to share that we’ve already shipped out nearly one-quarter of all rewards over the weekend. If your order did not contain any Limited Edition Gold decks and you are not a vendor, you should have already received an email with your tracking information.
Please keep in mind: the shipping labels have been created, but the packages have not yet been picked up by UPS/USPS. It may take a few days before tracking numbers begin to show movement or status updates, so don’t worry if your tracking link still appears inactive.
Thanks again for your understanding and continued support—we're working hard to make sure every package arrives safe, secure, and worth the wait!
