Soltera Decks - Manufacturing Update

Hello Friends!

We have an update to share about the progress of the Soltera decks. Unfortunately, we’ve just been informed by our printers that, due to the Chinese Spring Festival holiday, production will take longer than expected. This means the decks (brick boxes, stickers, etc) won’t be ready to ship to us until sometime around February 20th.

While the team worked hard to finish everything ahead of the break, we are committed to prioritizing quality over quickness to ensure the decks meet our high standards. As we get closer to the updated timeline, we’ll provide more details on shipping and an estimated start date for fulfillment.

Update Your Shipping Information

While we are waiting for the products to complete manufacturing, this is a good time to verify or update your shipping information.

How to Update Your Shipping Information on BackerKit:

Log in to BackerKit:

• Visit www.backerkit.com.
• Click Log In in the top-right corner and enter your email address associated with your Kickstarter pledge.

Access the Soltera Campaign:

• Once logged in, navigate to your Backer Dashboard.
• Locate the Soltera: Convergence of Dragons campaign and click on it.

Update Your Shipping Information:

• Click on Edit Shipping Info or a similar option on your survey page.
• Update your address and confirm your changes.

Save Your Updates:

• Double-check your updated shipping information for accuracy.
• Click Save or Submit Changes to ensure your new address is saved.

Soltera Decks Are Officially in Production!

Hello Friends!

We’re thrilled to kick off the New Year with some exciting updates on the Soltera playing cards! 

Here’s where things stand:

Print Proofs Reviewed and Updates Made
A few weeks ago, we received the print proofs for all eight Soltera decks—over 460 cards in total. We’ve spent the holiday season, including Christmas Day, meticulously reviewing every detail to ensure these decks meet our high standards.

Thankfully, there were only three notable issues, which have already been addressed:

• King of Diamonds (Deck #1: Gold Dragons vs. Red Dragons): A layering error on this card caused a print issue (our fault!), but it’s been corrected.
• Tuck Box Flaps: Some tuck boxes were difficult to open, so we requested adjustments to the side flaps for smoother usability. Problem solved!
• Limited Edition Sticker: The Limited Edition stickers for the Gold Edition decks looked stunning, but the shiny gold foil on a white background made the text a little hard to read. We switched to a black background to make the gold foil pop. Fixed!

Decks Ordered and Manufacturing Underway
With the corrections complete, we placed the order, and manufacturing is now in progress! It will take about 20–25 days to produce everything. The team is working diligently to try and ensure the decks are printed and shipped before the start of the Chinese New Year in mid to late January.

Given this timeline, we anticipate beginning fulfillment in February or March 2025.
 

New Brick Box Design!

We’re also excited to unveil the updated design for the Brick Box! This dynamic new look is sure to stand out, and we can’t wait for you to see it in person. While the top design is vibrant and detailed, the base of the box will be a sleek, solid black.

We only have a handful of these left so, if you want to add one or more to your initial order let us know by contacting us through a direct Kickstarter message.

Print Proofs Are Ready!

Hi Friends!

We’re thrilled to share that the re-print of the Proof Prints for the decks have been completed and they are already on their way to us! Our printer was kind enough to send over some images, which we’re excited to share with you all.

We expect to receive the shipment late this week or early next week. Once we have the decks in hand, we’ll be taking more pictures to give you a closer look at the final product.

In the meantime, take a moment to enjoy these sneak peeks! Thank you for your continued support—we’re almost there!

First Look: Tuck Box Print Proofs

Hello Friends!

The printers sent us some images of the Soltera Tuck Boxes, and we’re thrilled to share them with you—they look fantastic! However, there was a small error with the foil color for the edition text. They accidentally swapped the silver foil for gold foil, so the boxes will need to be reprinted.

We’ve reached out to the printers for an updated timeline on the reprints but haven’t received confirmation yet. Unfortunately, this will delay us receiving the deck print proofs. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information to share.

In the meantime, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at the current images so you can get a feel for how everything will look. Once we receive the corrected boxes and print proofs, we’ll carefully review everything to ensure they meet our high standards before moving forward with full production.

First Look: Deck Print Proofs Are Here!

Hello Friends!

We have some exciting news to share! Today, we received photos of the first set of physical proofs, and we couldn't wait to show you. The decks are looking fantastic, and we're thrilled with how they're shaping up.

However, we were also informed of a slight delay in the printing schedule. They are now saying that all the print-proof decks are expected to be completed and ready to ship by November 26th.

There's not much more to say for now—so we'll let the pictures speak for themselves. We hope you love what you see!
