Late Pledges Now Open
Hello Friends!
We've got quite a few updates to share so let's jump right to it!
For those of you who may have missed the Kickstarter campaign cutoff, we're happy to announce that we are now taking late pledges through Indiegogo OnDemand. You can get to it by either clicking the blue box at the upper right corner, or going to the direct link here: https://igg.me/at/soltera
This is for late pledges only. If you are wanting to add some items to your original pledge, you'll be able to do that when you receive your pledge manager survey in a few months.
Wild Card Unlocked!
Well... sort of! A number of you reached out to us expressing your desire/wish that the Social Media Stretch Goals were unlocked because you really wanted that Wild Card. We can't blame you, it's pretty sweet looking. So we're happy to announce that as a special thank you from us to you, we are going to include the Wild Card in each and every deck for all Editions!

Updated Soltera Card Playmat Design
By popular demand we've updated the Soltera Card Playmat so that the Soltera logo is smaller and relocated to the lower right corner so that you can take in the full glory of the Red Dragon laying waste to the city below. Look how epic it looks now!
New Tuck Box Back Design
We've updated the back of the tuck boxes for all of the decks (both editions) to be more emboss and foil friendly. The old design looked great, but wasn't very conducive to being embossed or foiled. Plus this design fits more with the theme of the decks and also gives you a sneak peak of the card back design.
Gold Edition Decks - Now Sealed Limited Edition Prints
Many of you have requested this so we are super excited to announce that the Gold Edition decks will now be a serial limited print run (1000 of each deck type). Each deck will be sealed with the serial number printed on it.
How will the distribution of the serials be handled?
We plan on distributing the decks in backer # order as best as we can. However, just because you might be backer #15 won't mean you are guaranteed to get #15 serial decks. This is because the backers in front of you may have already pledged for additional Gold Edition decks. Likewise, just because you are backer #800 won't mean that you'll get #800 seals. More than likely your seal numbers will be much lower. Just now that if you have a low backer # you're more likely to get a low serial number and the opposite will also be true. Keep in mind that you MUST complete your pledge manager survey (once it goes live) in order to save your backer spot in the queue.
If I Purchased Multiple Decks Will My Serial Numbers Be In Sequence?
All we can do is try our very best. This is a huge undertaking and will require a lot of man hours to pull off. Just know that we understand the desire to have your decks in sequence order, and we will endeavor to try and make that happen, but we aren't making any promises.
Will My Deck Serial Numbers Match From Deck To Deck (i.e. Deck #1, Deck #2, etc)?
No. Again this is because backers ahead of you may or may not have gotten all 4 different deck designs. So if you ordered one of each deck type of the Gold Edition decks, you may get serial# 102 for Deck #1, serial #113 for Deck #2, etc etc.
Will I Be Able To Add More Gold Edition Decks To My Initial Pledge?
Not at first. We want to make sure everyone who initially pledged for their Gold Edition decks gets them first. Once we've given everyone enough time to fill out their pledge manager surveys to pick the decks they want, then we'll re-open the ability to add additional Gold Edition decks to your pledge before fulfillment starts.
Will I Be Able To Purchase Gold Edition Decks On Your Website?
Only if there are any left over from the campaign. Once all 1000 decks of each type have been sold, that's it. They won't be reprinted again.
Handmade Dice Sold Out!
We're sad to report that all of the Handmade Dice from Green Leaf Geeks has been sold out. Leah has asked us to cap off the total number of dice to ensure she can deliver them on time and with the highest of quality.
That being said, if there is a strong enough interest from the community who want more handmade dice, we will consider other dice makers. But before we can go down that path, there has to be enough orders to cover the costs of making additional molds and meeting that dice maker's minimum dice order. So if this is a strong interest for you, please reach out to us directly or leave a comment below with your desire and how many dice you would be interested in purchasing so we can gauge whether we can do it or not.
5th Deck - Holographic Decks - Art Book
5th Deck (Brass Dragons vs White Dragons) - Holographic Decks
Even though this campaign was a big success, we fell short of unlocking some of the planned stretch goals, including the very popular 5th Deck and Holographic decks. But fear not! We've already made plans on launching another Kickstarter next summer (after we fulfill this one) that will include the 5th Deck, Holographic decks, and much more!
Art Book
Since we will be adding additional decks to this series, it doesn't make much sense to do an art book without including that art as well. So, for sake of completion, and to also speed up the delivery of this campaign, we decided to take the Art Book off of the Stretch Goal list. Instead, we will make it part of the next campaign. It won't be a Stretch Goal, but instead it will be an add-on or part of other bundles right from the get go.
Fulfillment Date Moved Up!
Since we won't have to worry about producing art for a 5th deck or putting the Art Book together, we can now move up the fulfillment date of this campaign significantly. Instead of delivering in December of 2024, we will most likely be able to start fulfillment sometime in the Summer of next year. We'll continue to update you on that timeline once we have more ducks in a row.
Credit Card Errors
Just a reminder that Kickstarter will be closing out the fund collection process for this campaign soon so please make sure and login to your account to make sure your credit card payment went through. There are still quite a few backers who had payment errors. If you don't get this squared away before Kickstarter closes the fund collection process we won't be able to process your pledge.

First, we wanted to express our deepest thanks to you all for all the love, excitement, and support that you have given us throughout this campaign. Pulling off a project like this wouldn't be possible without you. Thank you!
When Will My Card Be Charged?
Starting today, Kickstarter will attempt to charge the card you used to make your pledge. If your card didn't process the payment for whatever reason, you will get a notification email from Kickstarter and also a notification at the top of the screen when you login to Kickstarter. So make sure you login and check your account to make sure your payment went through, otherwise we won't be able to fulfill your pledge.
Late Pledges
In a few days we'll open up the page for late pledges either through Indiegogo OnDemand or Backerkit for those of you that missed the cutoff last night. There will be a button on the top right corner (see below) that says [Late Pledges] that will take you to a page that allows you to make a late pledge. We'll keep late pledges open for a few months while we finish up the artwork for Decks 3 & 4.
Can I Add Additional Items To My Pledge
Yes! In a few months you'll receive a survey from Backerkit to collect your information and confirm your order. While you are there you can add or adjust your order however you wish. You'll be able to add items like this until we lock down the survey, so you'll have plenty of time and opportunity to do that.
Can I Add A Single Coin?
Yes! Many of you have requested the ability to add a single Soltera Silver Coin to your pledge. Once the Backerkit survey opens up, you'll be able to add as many coins as you like to your pledge.
What About The Art Book? 5th Deck?
It's possible that these might get unlocked while we take late pledges and/or when the Surveys are completed. If the 5th Deck isn't unlocked through these processes, we have plans to run another Kickstarter to fund a 5th Deck and possibly other decks, like a holographic deck series! Stay tuned!
What's Next?
We will be taking the next few months to finish up the artwork for Decks 3 &4. While this is happening, we will continue to provided you updates as we progress.
